Chamber to Host Gubernatorial Forum
The 2013 Virginia Gubernatorial Candidates "Battleground Forum" will be held August 9 in Manassas.
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Loudoun, Prince William and Reston Chambers of Commerce to present a gubernatorial debate August 9, Chamber President Susan Spears announced.
Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli will face off in the “Battleground Forum” at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.
Following a brief opening statement, the two candidates will each take questions from a panel of business leaders on the issues of importance to the commonwealth’s economy and business climate, Spears said.
Registration and networking will begin at 9 a.m. The forum begins at 10 a.m.
The Hylton Performing Arts Center is located at 10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas.
