FOODE and The Bavarian Chef in State's Culinary Madness Competition

A little competition isn't a bad thing. And a big competition is even better. In the past few weeks, a list of restaurants with unique dishes has been narrowed down to an "elite eight" in Virginia Tourism's Culinary Madness competition.

And two of those eight dishes come from Fredericksburg. The Bavarian Chef's Schweinshaxe pork shank and FOODE's Fredericksburger are each competing against top dishes from other parts of the state.

Until April 18, you can vote once a day for your favorite dishes in four face-offs. You can place your vote here, and come back in 24 hours and do it again.
