Free Food and Foode to Support Josh Hardy

Campaign to help #saveJosh includes several local businesses.

Fredericksburg businesses are working together to support 7-year-old Josh Hardy, and asking for your help.

A four-time cancer survivor, Josh is now suffering from a bacterial infection. His doctors believe an experimental drug may help, but drug manufacturer Chimerix has refused a request for the drug.

Downtown eatery Foode will be offering free burgers Tuesday until their gone to everyone who signs a letter to the CEO of Chimerix asking for the drug to be released.

The restaurant is working with Fairy Godmother Project, the Olde Towne ButcherLyon Bakery and US Foods
