Sheriff's Office: Courthouse Road 7-Eleven Robbed

Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office are investigating an alleged robbery.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged robbery at a 7-Eleven in which a clerk reported money was stolen from the cash drawers.

Deputies responded to 10501 Courthouse Rd. on July 28 at 3:30 a.m. where a clerk told them "two males dressed in dark clothing entered the store and brandished firearms at the clerk demanding she open the cash drawers."

"The suspects pushed the clerk to the floor and took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the store," said a release from Spotsylvania County Sheriff's office spokesperson Mike Harvey. "The clerk was not physically harmed during the robbery."

The males were described as unknown race males wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts, said Harvey in a release.
