This year, Fredericksburg Patch asked local small businesses to notify us of their Small Business Saturday deals.  The following responded and, as promised, we feature them here:

  • Take a minute to checkout MovieNoodle.com Deliver someone a custom movie night (popcorn, candy, new DVD, etc.) and support a great, small home business.
  • Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen, located at 1000 Charles Street under the bright red poppy, is offering a Friday through Sunday 'Small Business Saturday' special. You get a three course meal with your choice of one of: three starters, three entrees and five deserts. The cost is $25 per person, not including tax and gratuity.  "All our meals are made fresh to order, and our vegetables are from local farms. We have just received a Top Fifty Restaurant award from Northern Virginia Magazine. We were the only area restaurant included.  Readers ranked us no. 31. Call for reservations at 540-373-2035."
  • The Dragonfly Collection is offering 25 percent off everything (except already discounted collections/sets) on Small Business Saturday, and free shipping through Cyber Monday.  The collection features all natural, handmade, mineral makeup, luxury soaps, novelty soaps, bathing scrubs and more!

There are dozens of locally-owned small businesses celebrating Small Business Saturday — you can look up which Fredericksburg businesses are participating here.
