Steamers Seafood to Replace The Greene Turtle at the Village at Towne Centre

The Greene Turtle is closing at the Village at Towne Centre, but the restaurant space won't be dark for long.

In partnership with The Greene Turtle, Steamers Seafood Grill & Bar will be moving into the space in early May, according to a release by Cafaro Co., which owns and operates Towne Centre.

The Greene Turtle will close Monday. Renovations for the new Steamers will last until the planned opening in early May. 

This is the only Greene Turtle location impacted. The restaurant chain will maintain its 37 other locations, including restaurants in Sterling and Arlington.

Steamers opened its first restaurant in Fredericksburg in 2003. There's also a second location in King George.
