The tax holiday runs Oct. 11 - 14, 2013.
Certain Energy Star and WaterSense products bought for non-commercial use and costing less than $2,500 are exempt from sales tax in Virginia through Columbus Day.
The Virginia Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday runs Oct. 11 - 14.
Among the Energy Star items you can buy tax-free: dishwashers, clothes washers, refrigerators, air conditioners, ceiling fans, compact flourescent light bulbs and dehumidifiers.
Exempt WaterSense items include toilets and faucets.
