Visions for Vacancies: Former Civil War Life Store

What business would you like to see lease this now empty downtown storefront?

Terry Thomann closed his downtown Fredericksburg store last week. He said after 12 years in business, three at the 829 Caroline St. location, the economy had taken its toll and Civil War Life & Homefront Museum store would close.

When @MacKidFrdrksbrg read the news on Twitter, she responded:

"@FburgPatch Thanks. I am trying to daydream up a store I wish we had locally that isn't a chain. I can't come up with anything so far. You?"
