WFVA Returns to News Talk

The station returns to the format it left in April 2011.

Fredericksburg's WFVA 1230-AM radio returns to a conservative news talk format Monday. The current adult standards music programming replaced the talk format in April 2011.

"The new talk lineup will include America In The Morning, Don Imus, Glenn Beck, Mike Huckabee, Dennis Miller, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, and George Noory," according to Radio Insight. Ted Schubel, WFVA news director, will host a local program from 8 to 9 a.m. daily, Radio Insight reported.

Centennial Broadcasting owns:

  • WFVA-AM and WBQB B101.5-FM in the Fredericksburg market.
  • WINC-FM, WXBN-FM, WZFC-FM and WINC-AM in the Winchester market.
  • WLNI-FM, WZZI-FM and WZZU-FM in the Lynchburg market.

Very happy to read this. When they changed formats, they lost me as a listener. Does this mean Rush will not be back?
