Laundry Fire Deemed Suspicious

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2011

SUSPICIOUS FIRE:

1400 block Caroline St, June 1, 9 p.m. Two residents reported that they smelled smoke outside their apartment and found that laundry hanging on the porch railing had been set on fire. The residents were able to put out the fire and did not report the incident until the next day. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Josephine Berryman, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with felony destruction of property.

Amy Schramm, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for embezzlement.

Darrell Hale, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested for curse and abuse.

Jonathan Bruce, 23, of Stafford was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Charles Cutchin, 54, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
