Photo Essay: MLK Remembered at Bragg Hill Family Life Center

The Bragg Hill Family Life Center was the site of a commemoration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

An uplifting ceremony honored the memory and mission of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Bragg Hill Family Life Center on Monday, Jan. 17. The event, called Bridging the Dream, featured an array of speakers from all walks of life, each reflecting on how King's vision for a world free of prejudice resonates today. Former mayor of Fredericksburg and pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) Lawrence Davies was honored with the presentation of the King Spirit Award for 2011 for his service to the community.
