The week will likely start out soggy Monday, according to the National Weather Service, with a 90 percent chance of rain. Patchy fog is expected through the morning hours. The good news? Temperatures are expected to reach the high 50s or low 60s.
Tuesday should be sunny with a dip in the temperature to a high of 54 degrees.
There is a 60 percent chance for a wintry mix -- rain, snow and sleet -- for Wednesday and Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service. Expect to see a high Wednesday of just 43 degrees.
Area florists can breathe a sigh of relief, if the weather predictions hold out for Valentine's Day. The NWS says to expect sunshine with a high near 50 degrees Thursday, perfect weather for delivering flowers.
Friday is also expected to be sunny, with temperatures warming up to 50 degrees.
Friday night and Saturday there is a 30 percent chance of rain.
