Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is an innovative minimally invasive approach for people who have severe aortic stenosis — the narrowing of the heart valve that restricts blood flow to the body — and who are at increased risk for traditional open-heart surgery.
The seminar will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont, 224 Washington Street, in Falmouth, Virginia 22405.
