A New Hope for Heart Valve Replacement

Presented by Drs. Derek Brinster and Zachary Gertz, VCU Pauley Heart Center

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is an innovative minimally invasive approach for people who have severe aortic stenosis — the narrowing of the heart valve that restricts blood flow to the body — and who are at increased risk for traditional open-heart surgery.

The seminar will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont, 224 Washington Street, in Falmouth, Virginia 22405.

Free and open to the public, however registration is recommended. For more information, email seminars@mcvh-vcu.edu or call (804) 828-0123.
