Archiving Your History: Preserving Your Digital Memories

Will your digital materials - photos, audio, video, email, or websites - last a lifetime?  We all know we should be taking steps to preserve our digital collections, but most of us aren’t doing it.  Maybe you don’t know where to start, or the task seems too daunting.  Saving your “digital stuff” doesn’t have to be difficult!  Michael Ashenfelder, an expert from the Library of Congress, will share simple, practical strategies for personal digital preservation at an event hosted by the Central Rappahannock Regional Library in support of Stafford County’s 350th anniversary celebrations.
