Meditation on Rebirth and Renewal + Thai Food at a Buddhist Temple

On Saturday, March 9 at 12pm at the Meditation Center of DC in Alexandria, VA, we'll learn about Buddhist teachings on rebirth and renewal for our March meditation event.
This exclusive event for DC’s premier social club, DC Global Adventurers, is our fourth event at this temple. The first three were our largest events ever, so we've arranged for another trip with the same delicious Thai food prepared by a nearby restaurant.

Join us for a wonderful day learning about meditation in the Thai Buddhist tradition. We will receive an introductory talk and lesson on what Buddhism teaches about rebirth, renewal and reincarnation from a Thai monk named "Peace." Afterwards, we'll enjoy delicious Thai food in the temple while we have a Q & A session with Peace.

The event price includes lunch with a choice of entrees: Green Curry (Tofu or Chicken) or Pad Thai (Tofu or Chicken).

We will meditate and learn about Buddhism from 12-1:30. Lunch will be served at 1:30 and we will have a Q&A during lunch. The temple is located in Alexandria just off 495 on Telegraph Rd south. Dress in WHITE or light-colored clothing that allows you to comfortably sit and stretch. Bring a $10 donation for the temple -- donation is optional but suggested.
