FAMCC Food Fight Fredericksburg

The
Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center is pleased to announce a new
fundraiser, Food Fight Fredericksburg on Friday, November 8 at 7pm. This event is in support of the
museum’s newest exhibition, Woman Adorned: Transcending Time,
Transforming Culture opening on November
3.

Food Fight Fredericksburg is one of the
most unique and creative collaborations between the Museum, downtown
restaurants, and local designers.  The
Museum has hand-picked five area restaurants and designers to be featured in
each of its galleries for one night where their culinary and design experiences
will be tested.  On the night of the
‘Food Fight,’ each designer/restaurant team will be responsible for creating a
one-of-a-kind space in the galleries of the Museum along with an appetizer and
a signature drink that encompasses one of the following themes from the
Museum’s newest exhibition,  Women Adorned: Transcending, Transforming
Culture. The themes are:

Athletes and Aqua Belles: 
Castiglia’s & Salon 730

Earth Mother(s): Bistro Bethem & Impressions of Fredericksburg

Freedom Fighter(s): Foode
& Spaces

Gender Bender(s):  Kybecca (Food and Design)

Musician(s) and Muse(s):  The Orion Lounge (Food and Design)

Guests
will be escorted through each space and at the end of the evening, vote on
their favorite. At the end of the night, votes will be tallied and a winner
will be announced the next day and crowned the champion of Food Fight Fredericksburg! Tickets
for Food Fight Fredericksburg are
$100/individual and $250/couple.   Space
