Weekend Planner: Breast Cancer Benefit Walk, St. Jude's Car Wash

Come out and have your car washed at Bailey’s Pub and Grille from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday for a good cause. All proceeds from a car wash and bake sale will go towards St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; car washes are $10.

Bailey’s Pub and Grille is located at 1861 Carl D. Silver Pkwy.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for a bit of rain on Saturday, but rain or shine you can join the 2.2 mile walk to benefit. Mary Washington Hospital’s breast cancer fund The walk will start and end at the regional cancer center building at 1300 Hospital Dr. There will be live music and vendors. 

The walk starts at 8:30 a.m. but registration runs from 7:30 to 8:25 a.m. on Saturday. 

The Fredericksburg Dog Fair is Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. head down to Riverside Park, 600 Sophia St. for a dog fair adoption park, lure course, and much more. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online.
