This year, Pantone Universe, the color experts, have deemed emerald the Color of the Year.
So what does this make-up artist think about that? I am thrilled. Last year's color was tangerine. Not everyone liked that red-orange hybrid and many felt they could not pull it off.
Emerald is easier. For the brown eyed ladies of the world, a green shadow on the lids is a gorgeous pop of color (tone it down with a neutral in the crease of the lid). Blue eyed gals can line the rims of their eyes with an emerald liner! Green and hazel eyed ladies can easily use a navy on the lids and a green in the crease to create an eye catching color combination.
For those who are a little color shy, a green sash tied to a neutral bag or even a cell phone case in this eye catching hue are great options.
Personally, I glad emerald is the color of the year. I like color and was ready for a pick that is universally flattering and fun!
