Mike Neville's Nations Best #FXBG HS Football 9/5/13

So what did we learn from the #FXBG high school football openers? Colonial Forge is pretty good despite and very challenging schedule. Courtland, as usual, is a tough out against anybody and James Monroe will be a force all season.

The Nation’s Best Player of Week 1 was Massaponax’s A.J. Forbes who scored a pair of touchdowns and rushed for 122 yards. Other notables from opening night, North Stafford senior Von Purvis who scored four touchdowns in the Wolverines romp, and Riverbend’s Zac Simms who scored both touchdowns in the Bears 14-0 win at Chancellor.
