Cheryl Lee Menders, 46, of Stafford County died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Cheryl was a graduate of Touro College in New York with a masters in Physical Therapy. She ran several physical therapy facilities across the country and prior to her illness she was a physical therapist at Golden Living Center. Cheryl was a scrapbooking enthusiast and was the former owner of Croppin Companion in Fredericksburg. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Menders; three sons, Jacob, Joshua and Caleb Menders; her father, Michael Bawlick of Oxford, Connecticut; brother, Daniel Bawlick of Oxford, Connecticut; her “Mom-Mom”, Gayl Ritter of Horton, Michigan; and her friend, Amy Thompson of Northern Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Saturday, April 26 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3pm Sunday, April 27 at Salem Baptist Church Family Life Center. A graveside service will be held at Noon Monday, April 28 at Quantico National Cemetery.
