Daniel John Wandrick, 73

Daniel John Wandrick, 73, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mr. Wandrick was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  He was a member of the Knights of Pythias where he was very active having held many local and state offices.  He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Brotherhood of the Paternal Order of Elks. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and baseball.  He was a Nationals fan.  He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Wandrick was the youngest of 11 children.

Survivors include his children Christel Giles (Ben) and Chad Wandrick (Sherry); longtime companion Sharon Langfeldt; brothers Charles Wandrick and Michael Wandrick; sister Katherine Gobel; and grandchildren Campbell and Baker Giles, Mason, Rachel, and Chase Wandrick.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at noon Thursday, May 8, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
