Everett Lee Propps, 66, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at McGuire VA Medical Center.
Mr. Propps was a member of the Teamsters, Local 639, and the American Legion. He was a USMC veteran. He enjoyed gardening and liked working with his hands. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his son, Leon Propps of Spotsylvania; daughters Virginia Bradshaw of Spotsylvania and Linda Blakley of Accokeek, Md.; sister Carol Schueler; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Propps.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
