Florence Bernard Smith, 87, of Stafford County, passed away April 7, 2014.
She is survived by children Dianne Harmon of Marion N.C, John C. Smith, Jr. of Stafford, Virginia and Kaye Smith Maxwell (Walter) of Media Pa.; grandchildren, Robyn Bishop, Kim Owens (Scott), Jonathan Maxwell and LtJG Megan Maxwell; great grandchildren, Tracey Welch, Kalab Owens and Kinsey Owens; great -great grandchild Jackson Welch and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John Coates Smith; parents Nelson and Fannie Bernard of Danville; brother Billy Bernard (Dot) and sister Esther Coles.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Quantico National Cemetery.
