Lena Synan, 87

Lena E. Synan, 87, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at Bowling Green Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Synan lived a faith-filled life and enjoyed the fellowship of her many friends and family.  She loved being outside in her flower beds, gardening, sewing and cooking.  She never turned down and opportunity to talk with or help those she met along life’s way.

Survivors include her son, Ronald E. Synan and his wife, Priscilla, of Baker City, Ore; daughters Norma J. Synan of Fairfax and Sharon R. Synan of Butler, Mo; grandsons Alex and Drew Synan; and her sister, Jean Beal and her husband, Bill, of Elizabeth City, N.C.

Mrs. Synan was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Synan; her son, Nathan W. Synan and granddaughter Beth Synan.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at noon on Sat., April 19 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
