Mary Ida Marie Hare, 77

Mary Ida Marie Hare, 77, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her children, Mary Jane Cooper (Kenneth), Kenneth Newton Hare Jr. (Debbie), Harold Lee Hare (Joyce), Jimmy Dewayne Hare (Gail), Timmy Nelson Hare (Teri), Dorothy Jean Connolly (Brian) and Jerry Ray Hare (Christine); brothers Jay Perkins, Butch Perkins (Nellie) and Bobby Perkins (Ed); sisters Ann Smith (Allen), Libby West (Lewis) and Barbara Jean McGuire; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Newton Hare Sr. and her parents Nelson and Dorothy Perkins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31st at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at Noon Tuesday, April 1 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
