Mary Pauline Cross, 82, of Spotsylvania County, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Carriage Hill Health and Rehab.
Ms. Cross was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She enjoyed the arts, painting and crafts. She loved to travel. Mary had retired from the Department of Agriculture, and was a member of the Prime Timers.
She was preceded in death by her son, David.

Survivors include her son Joe Cross (Jenny); grandchildren Joseph Ray, Hunter and Katelin; one great-granddaughter, her daughter-in-law Sara Cross; sister, Josie DeKousis; and several nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Sharon Blancard and Suzie Ikenberry.
A service will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 20.
