Outi Hanscomb, 72

Outi Irene Hanscomb (Age 72).

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on April 6, 2014.

She was born on July 15, 1941 in Finland and came to the United States with her husband in 1968.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jim; children, Laura and Ken; granddaughter, Danielle; son-in-law, Ed; and daughter-in-law, Shari.

She was a travel agent and Master Gardener. She enjoyed a life full of family, travel, gardening, and watching sports.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 14 at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church (308 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401).

Interment will be held at a later date in Cape Cod, MA.
