Thomas William Lovett, 69, of Spotsylvania County passed away April 8, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he graduated from Trenton State University and worked for the federal government for more than 25 years. He also ran his own business and worked for the counties of Culpepper and King George.
Tom was a great husband, father and grandfather who was fiercely loyal to those he loved.

He is survived by Patricia Anne Lovett, his wife of 48 years; his sons Colin Lovett of Arlington County and Kyle Lovett of Woodbridge; his daughter Kera Lovett of Spotsylvania; his brother Paul Lovett of Maryland; and five grandsons, two nephews and one niece.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the St. Patrick’s Building Fund or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
