Troy Burnett Collier, 73

Troy Burnett Collier, 73, died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his daughter’s home in Stafford County.

Mr. Collier was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for more than 50 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjory Lynn Moore (John) of Shelby, N.C., and Brenda Lee Greene (John) of Stafford; brother Smith Collier of Madison; three sisters, Hazel Scott of Alexandria, Lavelle Snyder of Florida and Naomi Kays of Alexandria; five grandchildren, Jessica, Troy, Deloris, Robert and Christian; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, May 15 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 2:30p.m. in Stanardsville Cemetery in Greene County, VA.
