From time to time we take in animals other than dogs or cats who also need homes.  The Spotsylvania shelter had many rats.  The ones who did not find homes were going to fed to snakes.  We took in two of them. 

They are female.  They are both VERY friendly.  Rats do make wonderful pets.  They are smart, friendly and cuddly.
