4-Year-Old Dies in Community Pool Drowning
Rico Rivera–Brayshaw was pulled from Aquia Harbour pool Sunday. Online fundraiser to support family.
A 4-year-old died two days after being pulled from a Stafford community pool, according to reports.
Rico Rivera-Brayshaw of Aquia Harbour died Tuesday, according NBC Washington.
On Sunday, Rico was rushed to the hospital after paramedics responded to the call of a drowning.

Friends have set up a GoFundMe campaign in Rico's memory. As of Friday morning, they had raised more than $4,200.
Aquia Harbour Police Chief P.S. Harman said in a statement, “There are a lot of people suffering with the family; the adults and children at the pool that day, the lifeguards who performed CPR and kept him alive long enough to give him a fighting chance and of course any of you with young children and grandchildren.”

Rico's death follows the drowning earlier this week of a Triangle teen in the Fredericksburg Quarry. On July 4, a Spotsylvania 7-year-old died in a lake drowning as her community was preparing for a fireworks display.
