6 Commuters Report Damaged Vehicles in VRE Lot

Vandalism, larceny reported by the City of Fredericksburg Police.

Six commuters who had parked in the City of Fredericksburg VRE lot at 399 Prince Edward St. found flattened and damaged tires on their vehicles when they returned between 4:30 - 5 p.m. Wednesday.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:
Aamco, 429 Wallace St, 8/7 1:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. The manager reported that an unknown person shattered the windshield and a window on a customer’s vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

400 block Rann Ct, 8/7 10:15 a.m. An officer patrolling in the area found graffiti spray painted on several townhomes. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

LARCENY:
1400 block Sands Cir, 8/2 – 8/4 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole his company gas card from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
