Armed Robbery at Plank Road Gulf Station

ARMED ROBBERY:
Gulf Station, 2120 Plank Rd, 9/24 7:30 p.m. An employee of a neighboring business called 911 to report that he thought the Gulf Station was being robbed.

When police arrived, the clerk at the gas station confirmed that a male subject entered the store and pointed a handgun at him, demanding money from the cash register. The clerk handed over a quantity of bills and the suspect ran from the store in the direction of Altoona Drive.

The suspect was described as a thin white male wearing all black clothing and a mask over his face. A police K9 searched the area but the suspect was not located. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:
1400 block Dandridge St, 9/23 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole his laptop computer from his room. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS;
Gary Kemp, 35, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 3300 block of Plank Road.

ARRESTS:
Robert Baker, 62, of no fixed address was arrested for drinking in public and littering.
Herbert Brown, 51, of Fredericksburg was arrested for probation violation.

Amanda Marvin, 28, of Bremerton, Washington, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
