Business Burgled Again in City

Cash register stolen from Fall Hill Ave. business, police say it's the second time in recent weeks that the business was hit. Read more details in today's City Blotter.

BURGLARY:

200 block Greystone Ct, Sept. 11 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered his apartment and stole a video camera and video game system. The investigation is ongoing.

Panaderia-Aury, 3345 Fall Hill Ave, Sept. 12 2:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m. An employee of a neighboring business reported that the front door glass was broken out. Officers checked the business and notified the owner, who determined that a cash register and other items had been stolen from the store. This is the second report of a burglary at this business. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1000 block Railroad Ave, Sept. 8 – Sept. 10 10:00 a.m. A resident reported that a lawn mower deck was stolen from his back yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Sept. 10 3:30 p.m. – 7:40 p.m. A shopper reported that her two sons’ handheld video games were stolen from her shopping cart. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Sheetz, 2001 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Sept. 10 9:20 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject stole a case of beer from the cooler and walked away from the store headed toward Wegmans. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

Advantage Business Advisors, 1011 Princess Anne St, Sept. 8 2:00 p.m. – Sept. 9 9:45 a.m. An employee reported that he found graffiti written on a hallway wall. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

400 block McKinney St, Sept. 9 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m. A resident reported that a glass bottle was thrown and shattered on her front porch and her vehicle was scratched with a sharp object. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1700 block Lafayette Blvd, Sept. Aug. p.m.10 1:00 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. A resident reported that the rear window on her vehicle was shattered. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS: Ian Whittle, 25, of Arlington was arrested in the 2400 block of Fall Hill Ave.Kayla Gilchrist, 20, of Stafford was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and DUI in the 1000 block of Noble Way.

Aaron Weeks, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested in the 1300 block of Littlepage St.

Gretchen Thompson, 29, of Stafford was arrested in the 1200 block of Sophia St.

ARRESTS:

Lauren Zampella, 18, of Falls Church was arrested for shoplifting from Target.

David Tiskiewic, 47, of Baltimore, Maryland was arrested for public intoxication.

Marisol Marotta, 33, of King George was arrested for public intoxication.

Reginald Kyer, 43, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana and providing false identification to avoid arrest.

Andres Rodriguez, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and assault on law enforcement.

Kristen Canul, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Sara Holtham, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of a schedule III narcotic.

Alease Bright, 32, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Timothy Margrave, 44, of Stafford was arrested for urinating in public.

Mackenzie Walsh, 19, of Fairfax was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Brady Larkin, 19, of Clarksville, Maryland was arrested for public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.

Jessica Dallin, 24, of Raleigh, North Carolina was arrested for urinating in public.

Benjamin Stanley, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Monica Aguilar, 19, of Spotsylvania was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Sara Mayhew, 19, of Louisa was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
