Fredericksburg police respond to a larceny, credit card fraud and five arrests.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2011

LARCENY:

1400 block Washington Ave, April 13 2:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that his wallet was stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

FRAUD:

2217 Princess Anne St, April 13 3:30 p.m. A Maryland resident reported that his credit card was used to make several fraudulent purchases at a city business, even though the card never left his possession. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Brittany Jarrell, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for obtaining money by false pretenses.

Jessica McMillen, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Leslie Johnson, 48, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Orange charging him with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Courtney Beeson, 34, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Timothy Margrave, 43, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication and defrauding an innkeeper.
