Fredericksburg police respond to reports of unlawful entry, larceny, vandalism and make four arrests yesterday.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS FRIDAY, APRIL 22, 2011

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:

Dowling Sign, 1801 Princess Anne St, April 21 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm activation but found no signs of forced entry or damage to the building. Later, the owner contacted police after entering the business and discovering that an unknown person had discharged a chemical fire extinguisher throughout the interior of the building. There were also window panes that had been broken from the interior and other random damage inside. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

200 block Hunter St, April 1 – April 21 5:45 p.m. A resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from its parking space on the street. The vehicle is a teal green Jeep Cherokee and it did not have license plates. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

2400 block Van Buren St, April 21 7:45 p.m. A resident reported that he became involved in a verbal altercation with a male subject in his yard. The resident broke off the argument and walked inside his apartment; the male kicked open the front door and broke the door frame, then ran from the scene. The victim reported that he knew the subject by sight but did not know his name. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS: Abbe Hann, 54, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Emma Chayefsky, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Jesse Abell, 26, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Antoine Gardner, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
