Vandalisms, prescription drug fraud and credit card theft arrest reported

The following items come from the Fredericksburg Police Department. In incidents where arrests are made, charges are merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. Arrested individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS  
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2011

LARCENY:
 
Riverwood Apartments, 2000 Woodlyn Dr, 2/04 5:30 pm – 2/7 8:00 am.  A manager reported that a number of rent checks were stolen from the drop box.  The investigation is ongoing.
 
VANDALISM:
 
1000 block Hotchkiss Ct, 2/7 6:00 pm – 2/8 6:20 am.  A neighbor reported that graffiti was spray painted on the garage doors of a vacant residence.  While officers were checking the area, similar graffiti was located on a jersey wall and on a vehicle parked in the neighborhood.  These incidents appear to be related to other acts of vandalism found in the apartment complexes on Cowan Blvd over the weekend.  The investigation is ongoing.
 
ARRESTS:
 
Samantha Evans, 21, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
 
Jonathan Rodgers, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing a roadway, and trespassing.
 
Christopher Tulloss, 18, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
 
Travis Walche, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for prescription fraud, uttering a forged prescription, and identity theft.
 
Jessica Randall, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I narcotic, as well as on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with failure to appear in court.
 
Richard Olivella, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for obstruction of justice.

Brian Shaw, 53, of Spotsylvania was arrested for larceny of a credit card.
