More copper downspouts reported stolen

  • The following items come from the Fredericksburg Police Department. In incidents where arrests are made, charges are merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. Arrested individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS  
THURSDAY, MARCH 3, 2011

LARCENY:
 
1100 block Caroline St, 2/28 – 3/2 6:00 am.  The property owner reported that a copper downspout was stolen from the building.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
Mary Washington House, 1200 Charles St, 2/24 – 3/2 2:00 pm.  An administrator reported that three copper downspouts were stolen from the building.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
HIT AND RUN:
 
1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 3/2 4:45 pm.  A resident reported that her vehicle was struck and damaged in the parking lot of her apartment complex while both she and the other vehicle’s driver were navigating a corner.  The driver of the offending vehicle ran into one of the apartments, but responding officers were unable to locate him.  The investigation is ongoing. 
 
DUI ARRESTS:
 
Doris Viola, 42, of Stafford was arrested in the 1300 block of Central Park Blvd.
 
ARRESTS:
 
Daniel Rossi, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
 
Edward Blasco, 36, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
