Company reports 'large' sum gone in ATM hit

The Fredericksburg Police Department released the following incident report information for June 9:

A Spotsylvania County business owner called city police at 10:25 a.m. June 7 to report that an unknown person used one of his company credit cards at a nearby WaWa ATM to take a "large" sum of money.  The investigation is ongoing.

3000 block Fall Hill Ave, 6/3 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that his son’s cell phone was stolen while the juvenile was swimming at the river.  The victim later discovered that the phone had been sold on Craigslist.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

1300 block Central Park Blvd, 6/8 12:05 a.m. – 6/9 5:50 a.m.  An officer patrolling in the area found graffiti spray painted on an electrical power box.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

  • Jamie Carr, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
  • Nicole Evans-Hrabal, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for probation violation.
  • Michael Ferguson, 41, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
  • Antoine Gardner, 35, of unknown address was arrested for violation of a protective order.
  • Christopher Clore, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for brandishing a firearm.
