Days Inn Stabbings Case Unresolved

The victims of and participants in Monday's altercation are not cooperating with law enforcement.

Charges have not been filed in Monday morning's altercation at Day's Inn Fredericksburg South that resulted in three stabbing victims.  "The victims in this case have not been cooperative with investigators," Lt. Troy J. Skebo of the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office said.

The case was presented to the Commonwealths Attorney’s Office Tuesday.  "Due to the lack of the victims' cooperation and limited information, no charges are being placed at this time," Skebo said.

Sheriff's Office staff received an assault in progress call at about 9:18 a.m March 11.  Two victims were transported to Mary Washington Hospital with multiple stab wounds and one was transported with a head injury, Skebo said.  All have been released from the hospital.
