The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in connection with the death of a man found unconscious at Hot Shots Bar & Grill early New Year's Day.

When sheriff's deputies responded to 4532 Plank Rd. shortly after midnight on Jan. 1, Glenwood Cupid, 33 was found lying unconscious on the floor inside the club.

"Mr. Cupid was transported to Mary Washington Hospital, where he remained in a coma until he died on January 4," said Sheriff's Office spokesperson Capt. Jeff Pearce.

Results of the Medical Examiner’s office revealed that Mr. Cupid died as a result of blunt force trauma, Pearce said.
