Triple Stabbing at Fredericksburg Days Inn

Three people were transported to Mary Washington Hospital Monday morning following an altercation at the Day's Inn Fredericksburg South, Lt. Troy J. Skebo of the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office said.

Sheriff's Office staff received an assault in progress call at about 9:18 a.m.  “Deputies arrived on scene within one minute to find multiple victims with stab wounds,” Skebo said.  Two victims were transported to Mary Washington Hospital with multiple stab wounds and one was transported with a head injury, he said.  All victims are reported stable with non life threating injuries.

A fourth victim with stab wounds to his hand refused transport, Skebo said.

Detectives are on scene investigating and interviewing witnesses.  Initial reports are that a large fight broke out with several people involved.

“There is no suspect description or information at this time,” Skebo said.  "Once that information can be obtained, it will be released," he said.
