Fredericksburg Man Charged with Robbery

A Fredericksburg man was charged with robbery following a police investigation into a report at the 2800 block of Chablis Circle on Thursday.
According to police reports, a 23-year-old Woodbridge woman told police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were at her residence in Lake Ridge when the accused allegedly displayed a knife and demanded her medication.
Police reports said Jesse Owen McDonald, 24, allegedly took the medication and left the residence.

No injuries were reported in the incident. McDonald was located by Fredericksburg Police in Fredericksburg and was detained following the incident, Prince William County police reports said.
McDonald is charged with robbery. His court date is set for Oct. 5 and he is currently behind held without bond, according to police.
