Fredericksburg Man's Stolen Golf Clubs Found — Where Else?

Man was driving to post office when he spotted his driver — and a sporting goods store is left holding the bag.

A 79-year-old Fredericksburg man whose golf clubs were stolen from his car found them himself this week in, of course, Eagle Village.

Fredericksburg.com reports the man was traveling to the post office Tuesday when he spotted his clubs for sale in front of Play It Again Sports, a store that buys and sells used sports equipment.

Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe told Fredericksburg.com that the man last saw his clubs in his car Sunday but didn't report them stolen until he spotted them at the store, which sits next to the post office.
