Fredericksburg Police Blotter: Larceny, Vandalism, Counterfeiting and Arrests

Crimes reported Dec. 11 and 12, 2013. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

LARCENY:

Richard Johnston Inn, 711 Caroline St, 12/10 10:20 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole her purse from her unlocked vehicle. A witness reported that he saw an individual wearing a blue or black hoodie, jeans, and white tennis shoes going through the victim’s vehicle and leaving the area on foot via Sophia Street. No known suspects at this time.

1000 block West Kensington Cir, 12/8 – 12/9 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through her unlocked vehicle and stole a purse. The purse was later found by a neighbor and returned to its owner. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 12/10 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and stole a laptop computer. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1900 block Airport Ave, 12/10 – 12/11 11:45 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole her purse and a wallet from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Stuart St, 12/7 – 12/11 5:00 p.m. The property owner reported that an unknown person stole the air condensers from the exterior of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Wicklow Dr, 12/10 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole her electronic tablet from her room. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

Hazel Hill Apartments, 100 Princess Anne St, 12/5 – 12/10 10:00 a.m. The property manager reported that she found graffiti spray painted on a dividing wall and on a sidewalk. The manager also reported that an unknown person damaged a screen door on one of the apartments. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Romas Pizza, 203 Lansdowne Rd, 12/10 – 12/11 10:00 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person threw paint all over the building exterior, broke a window, and scattered nails throughout the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Downtown Cleaners, 510 Kenmore Ave, 12/11 7:30 p.m. – 12/12 7:30 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person threw paint on the exterior of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

COUNTERFEITING:

McDonalds, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/10 9:15 p.m. A manager reported that an unknown person used a counterfeit bill to make a purchase. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Juvenile male, 17, was arrested for felony larceny from Kohls and Best Buy, conspiracy, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Juvenile male, 16, was arrested for felony larceny from Kohls and Best Buy, conspiracy, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Juvenile female, 15, was arrested for felony larceny from Kohls and Best Buy, conspiracy, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Rashid Jalal, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Cameron Booth, 21, of Manassas was arrested for failure to appear in court.
Daniel Larson, 50, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Lakiesha Richardson, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.
