Glass Targets: Five Smashed Windows Mapped

Four car windows and one home window broken in a little more than a week, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Five Fredericksburg residents have found cars (and in one case a home) with windows shattered. In each case, nothing was taken from the vehicle or the home.

From the Fredericksburg Police Department:

2300 block Forrest Ave, 5/30 3:40 a.m. A resident reported that he heard a loud noise and found that someone had thrown a rock through his front window. The investigation is ongoing. 

900 block Hanover St, 5/28 – 5/29 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person shattered the rear window of his truck. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

400 block Amaret St, 5/27 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Locust Grove resident reported that an unknown person shattered the rear window of her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

1100 block Winchester St, 5/26 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle parked on the street. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

2100 block Cowan Blvd, 5/22 10:50 a.m. A resident reported that a window on her vehicle was damaged. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
