Good Samaritan Saves Christmas for Local Family
A woman forgot to close her car's trunk and almost lost all the gifts she'd purchased.
A woman in her car outside Nail Connection at 2056 Plank Rd. noticed two men taking wrapped gifts from the trunk of a vehicle about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
"The witness sounded her car's horn and the two men dropped the gifts and fled," said Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police Department public information officer. The suspects left the scene in a dark colored vehicle.
When the owner of the gifts returned to her car, she was able to account for all of the packages that had been in the trunk, Bledsoe said.
