The Fredericksburg Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1906 Elmhurst Ave. about 5:55 p.m. Friday. "Fire was showing from the front of the structure when units arrived on the scene," Deputy Fire Chief Mike Jones said.
The fire was extinguished quickly. There were no occupants in the home at the time of the fire.
