Illegal Shooting on Celebrate Virginia Property

Where an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Two persons approached a man on Celebrate Virginia property at 2200 Gordon Shelton Blvd. and advised him he was not allowed on the property, Natatia Bledsoe, City of Fredericksburg Police Department spokesperson, said.

After being confronted, the subject allegedly fired multiple shots into the ground, before leaving the scene in his white Toyota 4-Runner.

City officers and a trooper with the Virginia State Police responded, and stopped the Toyota near the intersection of Bragg Road and Plank Road.
