Knife Drawn During Weekend Property Dispute

Suspect jailed after attacking apartment dwellers.

A property dispute led to a potentially deadly altercation over the weekend.

The incident began shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday May 29 at the Forest Village apartment complex off of Fall Hill Avenue. Police say that 21-year-old Spotsylvania resident Tomaso Passagaluppi arrived at the victim's apartment complex and knocked on the door to be let in. Inside the apartment are three roommates, a man and two women. The man went to open the door, but upon seeing Passagaluppi, he attempted to shut the door. Police say that Passagaluppi then forced his way into apartment with a knife in hand and immediately began attacking the man.

One of the female roommates entered the fray and knocked the knife away from Passagaluppi before going outside to call for police.
